Unprotected steel exposed to environmental conditions is susceptible to rust; the corrosion rate will depend on specific local environmental factors.

 

Powder Coating Defined

Powder coating involves an electrostatic application of powdered paint, which is subsequently polymerised under heat to form a durable coating. This method can extend the lifespan of the paint finish up to a decade; however, manual paint application may require more frequent maintenance due to potential flaking. While powder coating offers a layer of protection against rust, its effectiveness does not match that of hot-dip galvanisation.

Gate Production Procedure

Upon order confirmation, a 2D drawing detailing the gate’s dimensions will be provided. Fabrication will not commence until the drawing receives explicit approval from the client. The initial two drawings for amendments are complimentary. However, subsequent modifications will incur additional charges. Clients may select the screw colour during the design phase if fasteners are required.

 

Additional Extras

The package includes screws for the gate if required, and a compatible drill bit.

 

Delivery Options

Clients may collect their bespoke driveway gates from either Warrington or Liverpool. Alternatively, we can facilitate delivery to the client’s residence. If this option is unavailable during checkout, clients are encouraged to contact us for a delivery quote.

 

Assembly Considerations

Standard delivery does not include the installation of composite boards; this decision is predicated on weight considerations to facilitate hanging. Should clients require assistance with the installation process, they are encouraged to reach out for support and a cost.
